I am Dagje Massoels, an illustrator and graphic storyteller based in Belgium. 

​In 2024 I graduated with a master's degree in Graphic Storytelling (beeldverhaal) and in 2025 I graduated with an educational master's degree in Audiovisual and Visual Arts at Luca School Of Arts in Brussels.

Noteworthy among my achievements is my involvement in putting together and illustrating "Néala and the Path of Light" ("Néala en de weg van het licht") in 2019, a children's book available in Dutch and Amharic-English. 

Six years later (2025), I once again helped with the design and layout of the follow-up story "Néala and the horn of peace" ("Néala en de hoorn van vrede"), also available in Dutch and Amharic-English.

Internships:

In 2019 I completed a two-week internship at Fundació Privada Escola de Gestió in Girona.

In 2023, I interned at Conz (Constantijn Van Cauwenberge), where I contributed to the coloring process of the children's book "Gezocht: Vader met kuiltje in zijn kin," authored by Josien De Graaf.

In 2025, in my educational master's, I interned in two academies.

I aspire to establish myself as an independent illustrator, while also considering the creation of a unique studio space to showcase my work.​
